Secret Of Joy And Happiness

It was 10 p.m and Raj’s mother asked him to go to bed …..,
But before going to bed Raj went straight to his granny room for him it was story time.

Granny took raj in her comfortable warm bed and asked him what he wanted, with a smile on her face……… raj said its my time so you tell story……….

“So his grandma started telling a story “…………………

In a village there lived two good friends by name Radha and Rashmi. Rashmi was
from very good and rich family and Radha was from very good and poor family. As time passed they grew and got married in different families, because of the financial status they married in same status family….

Rashmi led a very good life after marriage as days passed she grew old lost her husband and children got settled in cities ………

Radha also led a good life but as days passed even she lost her husband and she never had children mover over poverty she had a spin wheel……. Which used to ear for her daily bread butter….

Radha was a very spiritual lady, every day before starting her work at the spin-wheel she said prayers raj said just like papa so granny said YES and now listen carefully, every story teaches us something

One day she read her prayer which exhorted the work of mercy and she took it to heart “after reading my good GOD” how can I do well to others? I have nothing but my spin-wheel, which earns hardly my daily bread, winter is fast approaching and the cold here in room freeze my fingers. so that I can hardly spin. I have not paid rent and I have to beg myself.

For whole day and night she kept on thinking on this matter and next day morning she thought still there is something she can do…. She remembered then that her friend rashmi was very sick in bed..

I’ll visit her today, “She said to herself …….I can spin in her house and I shall certainly have chance of giving her some comfort ……. So she searched for some money.  Found them, she brought bread and there where 3 apples in the kitchen which someone gave her…… she went on her way to meet her friend when radha’s sick friend rashmi saw her she was overcome with joy…… “My dear Radha she said “I have recently inherited small fortune would you like to stay here and nurse me? You would save the money that you pay in rent and with your spinning and in my small inherit, we could live without any worries ……

“Radha taught is this what GOD is helping me…….. and remembered her prayers….. with a smile on her face radha accept the offer very willingly and that
Same day she moved to her friends house , where for the first time after so long she was able to spend a restful night no worries……..

“Here raj asked what this story tells us…… his granny said dear both found joy and happiness in helping each other…

See radha had nothing but still she found some apple and bread to give rashmi as she was not well in same time rashmi asked radha to stay with her so that both of there problem got solved so both where happy.

“IF YOU WISH TO LEARN THE SECERT OF JOY AND HAPPINESS JUST GIVE TO THE LESS FORTUNATE SOME FOOD OR ALMS OR DRESS….SO RAJ ASKED JUST LIKE YOU GIVE FOOD TO BEGGERS STTING OUTSIDE TEMPLE?

SO GRANNY SAID YES DEAR……. Now go to your bed and sleep goodnight!

Shay”S LIFE

Hello, this is how I write. Hope u like it

I encourage each of you to find ways to help out your fellow man. When we help each other we strengthen the whole. We are all family sharing this space on the planet earth. We should strive to work as a cohesive unit which has compassion for all its members.

At a fundraising dinner for a school that serves learning disabled children, the father of one of the students delivered a speech that would never be forgotten by all who attended. After extolling the school and its dedicated staff, he offered a question:

"When not interfered with outside influences, everything nature does is done with perfection. Yet Shamu’s son Shay, cannot learn things as other children do. He cannot understand things as other children do. Where is the natural order of things in my son?"

The audience was stilled by the query.

The father continued. "I believe, that when a child like Shay, physically and mentally handicapped comes into the world, an opportunity to realize true human nature presents itself, and comes, in the way other people treat that child." Then he told the following story:

Shay and his father had walked past a park where some boys Shay knew were playing baseball. Shay asked, "Do you think they'll let me play?" Shay's father knew that most of the boys would not want someone like Shay on their team, but the father also understood that if his son were allowed to play, it would give him a much-needed sense of belonging and some confidence to be accepted by others in spite of his handicaps.

Shay's father approached one of the boys on the field and asked if Shay could play,
not expecting much. The boy looked around for guidance and said, "We're losing by six runs and the game is in the eighth inning, I guess he can be on our team and we'll try to put him to bat in the ninth inning."

Shay's father approached one of the boys on the field and asked if Shay could play, not expecting much. The boy looked around for guidance and said, "We're losing by six runs and the game is in the eighth inning, I guess he can be on our team and we'll try to put him to bat in the ninth inning."

Shay struggled over to the team's bench, put on a team shirt with a broad smile and his Father had a small tear in his eye and warmth in his heart. The boys saw the father's joy at his son being accepted. In the bottom of the eighth inning, Shay's team scored a few runs but was still behind by three. In the top of the ninth inning, Shay put on a glove and played in the right field. Even though no hits came his way, he was obviously ecstatic just to be in the field, grinning from ear to ear

as his father waved to him from the stands. In the bottom of the ninth inning, Shay's team scored again. Now, with two outs and the bases loaded, the potential winning run was on base and Shay was scheduled to be next at bat.

At this juncture, do they let Shay bat and give away their chance to win the game? Surprisingly, Shay was given the bat. Everyone knew that a hit was all but impossible because Shay didn't even know how to hold the bat properly, much less connect with the ball.

However, as Shay stepped up to the plate, the pitcher, recognizing the other team putting winning aside for this moment in Shay's life, moved in a few steps to lob the ball in softly so Shay could at least be able to make contact. The first pitch came and Shay swung clumsily and missed. The pitcher again took a few steps forward to toss the ball softly towards Shay. As the pitch came in, Shay swung at the ball and hit a slow ground ball right back to the pitcher.

The game would now be over, but the pitcher picked up the soft grounder and could have easily thrown the ball to the first baseman. Shay would have been out and that would have been the end of the game.

Instead, the pitcher threw the ball right over the head of the first baseman, out of the reach of all the teammates. Everyone from the stands and both teams started yelling, "Shay, run to first!" Never in his life had Shay ever ran that far but made it to first base. He scampered down the baseline, wide-eyed and startled.

Everyone yelled, "Run to second, run to second!" Catching his breath, Shay awkwardly ran towards second, gleaming and struggling to make it to second base. By this time Shay rounded towards second base. The right fielder had the ball. The smallest guy on their team had a chance to be the hero for his team for the first time in his life. He could have thrown the ball to the second-baseman for the tag, but he understood the pitcher's intentions and he too intentionally threw the ball high and far over the third-baseman's head. Shay ran toward third base deliriously as the runners ahead of him circled the bases toward home. All were screaming, "Shay, Shay, Shay, all the Way Shay"

Shay reached third base, the opposing shortstop ran to help him and turned him the direction of third base, and shouted, "Run to third! Shay, run to third”. As Shay rounded third, the boys from both teams and those watching were on their feet screaming, "Shay, run home! Shay ran to home, stepped on the plate, and cheered as the hero who hit the "grand slam" and won the game for his team.

That day, said the father softly with tears now rolling down his face, the boys from both teams helped bring a piece of true love and humanity into this world. Shay didn't make it another summer and died that winter, having never forgotten being the hero and making his Father so happy and coming home and seeing his Mother tearfully embrace her little hero of the day!

SPRADE LOVE

Rrrrrrr…………..ing. The shrill sound of the call bell filled the house. Nita looked at the front door unhappily, who could it be so early in the morning? We hardly knew anyone here.

The summer vacation had just started and Nita and her family had recently shifted to this multi-storey building and were still in the process of settling down. She opened the door and quickly jumped aside to avoid begin trampled on by the group of children who rushed into the house in a tearing hurry. The group consisted. Of children of all ages……

“Manoj’, where is Manoj? “they all chorused.
“He is having a bath, Please wait,” answered Nita. Confused, she looked at the group, which had children of all age. How could Manoj have made so many friends in such a short time.? She thought.
Ok, so he is an extrovert but this is too much!!!! “Hi’floks!, suddenly Manoj burst into the drawing room wiping his wet hair vigorously with a towel.” “Give me two minutes.” As he turned he saw Nita standing in a corner. He called out to her and introduced, “this is Nita, my younger sister and Nita this is the gang from the building. This is Saurabh, this is Suruchi,Ritu, Ashok, Geetika, Annesh ,Gaurav and Tutu………..
Hello”, said Nita shyly. Manoj went inside to get ready. “Why don’t you also come with us? Asked one of the gang members.

Nita shook her head. She knew she could not keep up with their pace. “Oh, Nita is a dreamer, a nature- lover said Manoj joining his friends. “She would rather paint or read a book in some quite Conner than come out and play wild games with us. Isn’t that so Nita?” Manoj said patting her midly on the head. Nita amiled shyly, as soon as we are gone. She will take her sketch book and go the terrace to draw …………
Before Manoj could finish, the group exclaimed. the terrace? Oh. no not the terrace! Why asked Nita astonished at this unanimous nervousness………………….
Its prohibited zone, said suruchi…

Dnt even think of quipped ashok . trespassers are shouted at, added aneesh, hey wait a minute what is all this warning about why is the terrace prohibited and by whom? Asked nita
By nikhil the gang repiled in chorus. Who is he asked Manoj puzzled.
He is an our age boy living on the top floor. His parents brought this house only last year. He lives with his parents but never play with us and nor allow us to play on terrace………
But why should he not allow anyone n terrace asked nita,oh he is just unusual that is all we used to go there quite often to play before he came. But within a week of he shifting there, she shooed us out,” said ritu once or twice we did try to go upstairs but what a screaming we got since then on one has dared to go there.

Manoj impatiently said come long now lets go and play. But Nita could not take it so easily; who could this Nikhil be who hates making friends of his age. Nita was only 2 years younger to Manoj who was tall and strong always full of energy, she was frail child tall but thin. The most striking features in her pale face were her eyes, big and brown , full if feeling and emotions unlike her brother she was an introvert.

After breakfast, nita sat down at the dining table with her sketchpad and pencil. She tried to draw few lines but could not concentrate. So Nita picked up her sketchpad and pencils and went out of the flat.

She taught fully for a few moments and then started climbing the stairs.
She finally climbed the stairs to the terrace, and the door was half open she peeped through it and gasped at sight that met her eyes. What she saw was unbelievable- something she could have never imagined.
She saw Nikhil sitting on a deck chair surrounded by different types of birds. Birds of all kind and colours, there were sparrows, blue jays, mynahs, bulbuls, pigeons, and many more. which Nita could not recognize. They were happily picking at the grains of rice and breadcrumbs on ground. There were two blows filled with water. There were birds all over the terrace on the parapet, on the chair and all over nikhil, and perched on his head.

Nita hid her self behind a big potted plam and looked at fascinating sight, she could not wait even a minut and started drawing vigorously. And in this ways many days past one fine day she found that the sketch came to a final touch. Nita was late on that day . And thinking in self she was eager to show Nikhil the painting and was in a question that boy who love the birds so much dint like to play with all and make friendship. But today the door of terrace was closed. Strange she said never I found the door shut. Nita stood there for a while and then could hear the sound of all chirping birds and hopping about madly.

Oh’ you all must be hungry and thirsty as well you poor dears! , she muttered sympathetically and ran downstairs. After five minutes she returned back with bowl full of rice grains and jug full of water, but seening her the birds flew away scared. They sat on the edges chirping suspiciously, the birds watched from their perches but hesitated to come near her.

Oh, please come dint go hungry and thirsty spoke Nita softly. After  two three minuts one small bird came forward followed by another and then another then all of them came. A broad smile lit up nita’s face.
And in the same way it took more than a week and by this time all birds where good friends with her.
Next day morning nita came up on terrace , cool breeze was blowing. Nita sat down on the deck chair a small bird hopped and settled on her lap. And all came near her chirping.,
Who is there? Suddenly a clear voice broke in to her day dreams . nita jumped out the chair and slowly truned around she found nikhil standing there he asked who are you , I never saw you , so nita said I am nita  I stay in below flat , after a long pause she said birds where hungry  and tirsty so I gave them food and water.

Nikhil  was angry but after a long silence looking at bird he said thank you Nita smilingly, you love birds than why you hate playing with all and why you don’t allow all off them to come up. So Nikhil said they all come in odd hours and disturb the I once said them but they started hurting them and destroy the food so I hate playing with them and asked them not to come here.
And Nita gave the panting to Nikhil seeing that he was dam happy and by the evening they both turned good friends, Nikhil said Nita we all can play any wear we wish and can tell openly what we feel and our sufferings but these dear ones have nowhere to go and who in this life want to spend time for them, just an hour you be with them you get to feel happy, and now I just want to take care off them. So Nita caught his hand and said

Nikhil even me so all us , i.e., you me  and birds are good friends , both sat there and all bird came creping near them.,
They both spent good time hence after with birds preached all over them chirping merrily.

WE SHOULD LOVE ANIMALS AND TAKE THEIR PROPER CARE, AND SPRADE LOVE……………………..

Pain : a internal feeling which can understand………. Even an animal.

A farmer had some puppies he needed to sell. He painted a sign advertising the pups and set about Nailing it to a post on the edge of his yard. As he was driving the last nail into the post, he felt a tug on his overalls. He looked down into the Eyes of a little boy.
Uncle," he said, "I want to buy one of your puppies."
"Well," said the farmer, as he rubbed the sweat off the back of his neck, "these puppies come from fine parents and cost a good deal of money."
The boy dropped his head for a moment. Then reaching deep into his pocket, he pulled out a handful of change and held it up to the farmer. "I've got thirty-nine cents. Is that enough to take a look?"
"Sure," said the farmer.

And with that he let out a whistle, "Here, Dolly!" he called.
Out from the doghouse and down the ramp ran Dolly followed by four little balls of fur. The little boy pressed his face against the chain link fence. His eyes danced with delight.

As the dogs made their way to the fence, the little boy noticed something else stirring inside the doghouse. Slowly another little ball appeared; this One noticeably smaller. Down the ramp it slid. Then in a somewhat awkward manner the little pup began hobbling toward the others, doing its best to catch up....

I want that one," the little boy said, pointing to the runt.
The farmer knelt down at the boy's side and said, "Son, you don't want that puppy. He will never be able to run and play with you like these other dogs would."

With that the little boy stepped back from the fence, reached down, and began rolling up one leg of his trousers. In doing so he revealed a steel brace running down both sides of his leg attaching itself To a specially made shoe. Looking back up at the farmer, he said, "You see sir, I don't run too well myself, and he will need Someone who understands."
The world is full of people who need someone who understands.
Hope you all have such people around your place ..
